Evan is a former marine engineer turned data analyst with a decade of experience in the maritime industry. After a career at sea, he joined a technology research firm where he was involved in building digital solutions and consulting on business transformation projects. These experiences exposed him to the value of service design in enabling impactful and sustainable change in critical infrastructure sectors such as transportation and logistics.He holds degrees in engineering and management, and has experience in the fields of shipping, research and consulting, and venture capital. Through the SDSI program, Evan aims to integrate a human-centered approach informed by data and guided by creativity to design products and services that support society’s transition towards a better future.
