Maarja is passionate about creating clarity in a jumble of ideas and maintaining a structure to execute them. She works as an organisational designer in the Nordic business consultancy Miltton, and by applying the principles and tools of human-centred design, she constructs solutions and processes that support people's everyday work.

Maarja has developed and led the participant experience in several leaders' development programmes. And for several years, she has contributed to the success of the hybrid summit of design thinkers Design Thinking Tallinn – from the concept to speaker affairs.​ She has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Tartu and has furthered her knowledge in design thinking at the international DesignThinkers Academy training programme.
