Somshubhra (or simply Som) developed an interest in service design while pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in India with a major in Business Services and System Design. After his studies he joined a think tank based in Malaysia and the Philippines, where he spent two years working on a range of social impact projects in Southeast Asia and helped organizations on the ground leverage design thinking and strategic foresight in order to create better programs and service offerings.

Now having gained some experience, he wants to study further, enhance his skillset, explore different cultures and find out where he ultimately fits in, while becoming a more holistic thinker and problem-solver. These goals have led him to SDSI and he is excited to see where this journey will take him.
